			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I remember a time when there were no recruiting Unconferences and then were were a lot. the 1st recruiting Unconference ever that I know about was put on by <a href="http://www.recruitingblogs.com/video/502551:Video:6083">Jeff Hunter</a>. The 2nd was called <a href="http://Recruitfest.com">RecruitFest!</a> then a guy names Bill Boorman ran with it and called it <a href="http://recruitingunblog.wordpress.com/the-tru-story/">tru</a>. Since then there have been quite a few.</p>
<p>An unconference is where everyone goes with the intention of learning something and teaching something. there is no one on a stage and it is more of a discussion based learning experience. They usually cost less money an they are less fancy.</p>

<p>They claim to be the 2nd largest HR conference in the world. I didn&#8217;t make this up. I took it right from their website so if it&#8217;s not true and you have proof, take it up with them.</p>
